PositionSelectByIndex

Syntax

Public Function PositionSelectByIndex (ByVal Index As Integer) As Boolean.

Description

This function is used to choose an open position for the given position index at trade list.

Parameters

Parameter  Description 
index Open position index at trade list to be selected. Value of type is Integer.

Return value

Returns true if position was selected successfully otherwise returns false 

Note:
After choosing the open position, you can inquire about the property for the selected position using PositionGetDouble(), PostionGetInteger(),  PositionGetString(), PositionGetBool(), PositionGetTime().

Public Sub main()

   Dim Result As Boolean

     Result = ClientCode.PositionSelectByIndex (1) ’select the first open position at trade list     

   GUI.MsgDialog (Result)

 End Sub
