The configuration tab in the Backoffice terminal is one of the most important tabs. It allow you to set the system configurations and edit them. The changes under its options will be reflected for the whole system.


The options of the configuration tab are:

Option Description 
Customize trade message Activating this check box means all symbols that are against USD will appear without the USD in the dealer's chatting window, in some symbols the Sell will be Buy in the dealing room chatting screen if this option is checked.
Time of demo in days Here you can set for how many days the demo account will be active, after that number of days it will be deleted automatically from the demo tree.
Trans.Log Mark Timer When a new transaction done on the system it will show up in red line in the transactions panel of the Administration Window. From this option you can set for how long per seconds the new transaction will stay marked in red color.
Transaction Log Screen From this option you can specify the number of rows you want to appear on the transaction log screen of the Administration Window (how many transactions). You just have to write down on the blank the number of rows.
Client accept timer From here you can set the period of time in seconds that the client can accept the re-quotable message that appears to him during changing price of his position from Backoffice dealer.
Dealer's Public News In this blank you can add the news that will slide on the public slide news for all dealers.
Client's public  News In this blank you can add the news that will slide on the public slide news for all clients.
Amount Units This option allow you to set the units that you will deal with for your deal amount, here you can define many units; let's say you would like to define the unit of Gold as OUNCE. What you have to do is click on it then right click on the window which appears from the menu, choose New Unit and set your description which is Oz as our example then set the amount factor, after that you will be able to configure this Units in the symbol setting for each symbol.
(Note: You have to edit the contract size for the selected symbol).
